It's tomorrow!Actually, tomorrow isn't officially Gruffalo Day. I don't even know if there IS such a thing. Tomorrow is the day I get to meet my new class. 27 kids, aged between 5 and 7 who will be my responsibility for the next year. Scary!
I've been calling it Gruffalo Day because that's the theme for the day. We're going to read the story and design our own gruffalos and make gruffalo noises and wear gruffalo hats that we've made for ourselves and maybe even make big pictures of the gruffalo characters to go on our board for September. Ooh, and we're going to sing the gruffalo song too.
After tomorrow, this list of 27 names I've been given will be more than a sheet of paper - I'll actually know who they are!
