This is a little late but even so, it's a huge thank you to all of you who were part of the fundraising I did for my birthday this year.
With your help, we raised a massive £300 which will be used on the Grassroots child sponsorship programme in Mbeya, Tanzania - probably to help fund HIV testing for each child so that those affected can be given extra nutrition and medical support.
So, thank you! You've helped make a difference.
If you weren't involved but would like to be, it's not to late to sponsor a child or donate towards the work in Tanzania.
P.S. Dan and I had a great weekend in Dublin seeing the sights, celebrating my old age and taking lots of photos
Happy birthday. (Apologies for the lack of donation, but we decided a few years ago to put all our resources into our own charity and other agencies who support children with the same disability as our son.)
ReplyDeleteI am so impressed with what you have done in 2008. And more than a little bit jealous that you have just gone ahead and done what so many of us have dreamed about - and now is beyond our reach.
Have a fantastic Christmas. I am looking forward to seeing what you achieve in 2009!
