big big thank you!

This is a little late but even so, it's a huge thank you to all of you who were part of the fundraising I did for my birthday this year.

With your help, we raised a massive £300 which will be used on the Grassroots child sponsorship programme in Mbeya, Tanzania - probably to help fund HIV testing for each child so that those affected can be given extra nutrition and medical support.

So, thank you! You've helped make a difference.

If you weren't involved but would like to be, it's not to late to sponsor a child or donate towards the work in Tanzania.

P.S. Dan and I had a great weekend in Dublin seeing the sights, celebrating my old age and taking lots of photos

  1. Happy birthday. (Apologies for the lack of donation, but we decided a few years ago to put all our resources into our own charity and other agencies who support children with the same disability as our son.)

I am so impressed with what you have done in 2008. And more than a little bit jealous that you have just gone ahead and done what so many of us have dreamed about - and now is beyond our reach.

Have a fantastic Christmas. I am looking forward to seeing what you achieve in 2009!

    Gareth
