Children we met while out visiting families and praying for them in the Chennai slum. The morning was taken up with 3 hours of walking from one family to the next and being invited in to hear from those there and pray for them.

After we got back to the centre we had a wonderful meal off banana leaves and then sat down to arrange the rest of the week's programme. Then at 5pm we joined the children who are sponsored through Grassroots at their after school club. They were very boisterous and fantastic. We sat with them and looked through the work they were doing. In the schools in the morning there are over 100 to a class. Here 2 teachers to every 30 children.
