they tried to steal our moped again :o(
we'd got a nice strong chain to lock it down but they cut through it. and they drilled out not just the ignition lock but the seat storage lock too. and they put a screw in the storage box lock on the back as well. they took it around the corner and they left it there. probably because it wouldn't start. if they'd have knocked and asked, i'd have told them it wouldn't start and saved them all the trouble - if I can't start it with a key, how do they expect to start it with a screwdriver?
it's SUCH a pain. now we have to get dan's dad to borrow a van from work so that we can take it round to his and put it in the garage so that we can fit new locks and sort out the starter motor so that it will actually start. but how long before they come back for another go? its obviously planned - who walks round with bolt cutters and a drill on the off chance? and we live in a no through road so people don't just walk past - there's nowhere to go.
oh well. we're moving out of london soon.
