orison at pilgrim's way school, farnham

We've just finished 2.5 days at Pilgrim's Way Primary School in Farnham - 8 great sessions with every year group from year 6 down to two nursery classes, with busy, chaotic lunchtime sessions in between. Lots of fun, plenty of opportunity for children to experience God in their own school context.

Isaiah 49:16 - see, I have written your name on the palms of my hands

Younger pupils draw their prayers rather than using words

While half the class are in the Orison space, the other half make prayer plates, thinking about different types of prayers; WOW! Thank you. Sorry. Hope.

And my favourite:

Children use a big sheet of paper on the floor to write their questions they'd like to ask God. This was written by a year 5 pupil.
